For thirty-nine years, Guangdong Science and Technology News has devoted itself to promoting science and technology policies, playing an important role in disseminating scientific and technological information, promoting the transformation of achievements, and facilitating talent exchange. Especially in the early days of reform and opening up, the newspaper played an important role in publicizing agricultural science and technology and promoting the development of agriculture in Guangdong Province, and also set a record high circulation of 300,000 copies. Since 2004, in response to the demand for scientific and technological knowledge from different groups, it has successively launched the Innovation Times Weekly, Health Science Weekly, Primary and Secondary School Subject Teaching Weekly, Science and Technology Culture Weekly, Innovation Ceramics Industry Weekly, and LED Times Weekly, forming a pattern of "one newspaper and six magazines".
