CATTI 译员交付件China Financial and Economic News Online is a news website sponsored by the China Financial and Economic News Agency. It officially launched in 2004 and was approved by the State Council Information Office in October 2005 to carry news content. In 2017, it obtained the Internet News Information Service License issued by the Cyberspace Administration of China. The China Financial and Economic News Agency was established in 1991 and is a public institution directly under the Ministry of Finance. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the agency adheres to the mission of “rooted in public finance, reflecting the economy, serving society, and serving readers.” It currently publishes three newspapers—China Financial and Economic News, China Government Procurement News, and China Accounting News. It also operates a website, WeChat public accounts, Weibo accounts, news apps, video channels, and 16 other new media platforms.
